Levant Express
Levant Express In 1941, M. Arifi Berker, drawing on his experience with shipping agencies, and his close friend Milo Baliç, an expert in the tobacco trade in Istanbul, decided to establish an international transportation company. At a time when rail transport was the only viable mode of international travel, Leveks (short for Levant Express) began offering new post-war services from Europe and quickly became a reliable player in the market. Its reputation as a trusted partner proved to be a significant advantage during the challenging years that followed the war.

Over time, Leveks grew to become a major supplier to the Turkish market, expanding its operations through strong partnerships established in Western Europe and the newly formed countries of Eastern Europe.

Berben Express
Berben Express BerBen Express was established in 1985 under the leadership of P. Bengiserp to serve as the exclusive agent of AEI in Turkey. As a third-generation family company deeply rooted in the logistics sector, it played a pioneering role in shaping the modern airfreight industry in the country.

Supported by a young, dynamic, and highly motivated team, the company quickly rose to become a market leader in airfreight. BerBen Express was awarded “Best Agent in the European Region” within the AEI network in 1987.

Following the liberalization of the Turkish economy in the late 1980s, BerBen Express successfully adapted to the rapidly expanding logistics demands of the country. By the early 1990s, the company had established a nationwide presence with seven offices, a workforce exceeding 200 employees, and a dedicated headquarters strategically located near Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

BerBen Express provided specialized logistics solutions to key sectors of the Turkish economy, including telecommunications, defense and aviation, electronics and home appliances, automotive, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.
